The Person You Are Today

We are now looking for engineers with a strong interest in vehicles who want to work on ensuring that the very latest vehicles are updated with the latest software. The role involves identifying which software belongs to each vehicle, updating it, and ensuring that this is done smoothly. As a technical consultant in this area, you have the chance to be involved in the early development phases of electronics development in vehicles and rigs. The work involves a lot of practical work directly on the vehicles and may require travel to workshops and clients. Therefore, it is a plus if you have a C driver's license for this role.

Previous experience working with electrical and electronic systems in vehicles and understanding the vehicle's electrical architecture is advantageous. It is also important to understand the product and its end-users.

We are looking for individuals with strong drive, problem-solving skills, and initiative, who can work independently. The role requires attention to detail and sensitivity to translate customer requirements and wishes into technical solutions. Understanding the project's needs and priorities is necessary to find the right solutions and meet goals according to the timeline. Good social skills and team spirit are also important qualities.

Travel within Sweden and abroad may occur.

You Bring the Following

• Post-secondary education in electronics, computer/software, or mechatronics
• Good communication skills in both Swedish and English
• A couple of years of relevant work experience
• Swedish B driver's license
• Available for on-site work in Gothenburg, and hold citizenship, residence permit, or work visa for Sweden/EU

It Is Also Beneficial If

• Experience with CANalyzers, Kola, Protus, PROTOM, Configurator, SE-Tool (System Weaver), and ClearQuest
• Experience in product development
• Experience from automotive, industry, defense
• Experience in software downloading (SWDL) via OBD port or OTA (Over-the-air)
• C and/or D driver's license
